Lotus Wellness Studio is owned and operated by Barbara Ritrovato , Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Yoga Instructor.
A native of Troy, NY, Barbara Ritrovato studied at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY and has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001. She has received her Esthetician license in 2010 from Austin's School of Spa Technology in Albany, NY , and is fully insured for a duo license through Health And Beauty Association. In 2016 Barbara received her RYT-200 certified through Ashley Colloton Yoga.
"My intention is to create beauty and balance through wellness, compassion, and kindness with an end result of a sense of well being through nourishment and growth."
After being a resident of California for 25 years, Ann has recently relocated to her home town of Troy, NY to join Lotus Wellness Studio. Although Ann has been a student of wellness for over 20 years, she attained a Master Herbalist Certification through the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2007. In 2012 Ann studied at the National Holistic Institute in Petaluma, California where she received certification as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator.
Ann's passion for wellness has helped her amass an extensive knowledge on holistic health practices and natural remedies.
"I started my path as a massage therapist over 18 years ago, mostly working in the Spa Industry and continued my education with esthetics, Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and my love for wellness education continues. I have taken all of my experience and passion to build my own practice in which I offer a variety of therapeutic and wellness services."
In 2005, Barbara received a mention in Spa Magazine for her Hot Stone Massage. She currently works out of her Troy studio.
